Former leader of the Australian Green Party, Christine Milne, urges Prime Minister Scott Morrison to keep an eye on situation in Cambodia as Sam Rainsy, self-exiled leader of the Cambodia National Rescue Party, plan to return to the country, amid threat of arrest.
In her tweet today, Kerstin Lundgren, deputy speaker of Swedish parliament, expresses her view on political situation in Cambodia, as the self-exiled leader of Cambodia's opposition party, Sam Rainsy plans to return to the country.
According to French Senator André Gattolin's tweet, nineteen French parliamentarians released a statement with their signatures, calling on French government and European member states to support the return plan of Sam Rainsy, the self-exiled leader of Cambodia National Rescue Party, to Cambodia.
"French parliamentarians ... declare our full and active support with the non-violent step taken by Mr. Sam Rainsy; call on France and the European Union member states to ensure the full security and give support to the leaders of Cambodia National Rescue Party," according to a media blog by Senator André Gattolin, on Nov. 6.
