In an open letter from Beijing dated April 5, Cambodian King Norodom Sihanouk urges Cambodian mothers not to fall into human traffickers' trick by sending their daughters to work outside Cambodia or allowing their daughters to be married to foreigners.
The King admits the gap between the rich and the poor is wider in Cambodia's society today but urges parents to hold on to their dignity for the sake of their families and the Khmer nation as a whole.
