Cambodian authorities on Thursday arrested 10 people suspected of participation in a movement to topple the government.
Police say the suspects were part of an illegal armed movement that sought to incite violence in the capital.
They are detained at national police headquarters and will be brought to court on Friday for arraignment, police said.
National police spokesman Keat Chantharith declined to comment on the evidence police have against the suspects, who include a teacher, several farmers, laborers and students.
A police website links the suspects to a man named Sam Serey, who has been wanted on similar charges since 2010 and is a suspected member of the Tiger Head Movement, an anti-government group linked to the planting of a bomb in the capital in 2009.
