Head of the Cambodian Border Committee Var Kim Hong said Cambodia has clear border demarcations and what he is doing is to look for the location of the old marking posts and to put down new ones down along the Thai, Vietnamese, and Laos borders.
Var Kim Hong stressed Cambodia never redraws border demarcations with its neighbors.
He said Cambodia continues to negotiate with its neighbors and that the process takes time. Var Kim Hong said the negotiation between Thailand and Malaysia over a kilometer long border has already taken more than 40 years.
Recently former King Norodom Sihanouk wrote a letter to the leaders of Thailand, Vietnam and Laos concerning Cambodia's border issues.
