In his second court appearance Monday to testify in Ranariddh defamation lawsuit, the president of the Cambodian Center for Human Rights, Kem Sokha, says he told the investigating judge the same statement he has made previously in front the the prosecutor.
Kem Sokha said he never accused Prince Ranariddh of making deals with the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) to form a government.
Kem Sokha said he told an FM 105 listener who asked about the rumor that FUNCINPEC had made a deal with CPP that the rumor could be true but that he(Kem Sokha) did not have any concrete evidence about the allege deal.
The CCHR president said his freedom of speech is guaranteed in the Cambodian constitution.
