FUNCINPEC members who lost their positions in the new coalition government met with the party's top officials Monday to push for internal reforms.
The members complained that the party unfairly awarded a number of positions to either new party members or non-party members.
FUNCINPEC officials who attended the meeting said they will report to their president Norodom Ranariddh when he returns from vacation.
In another development, the policemen who usually break up demonstrators, are now protesting themselves. For four days in a row, they are asking their superiors not to cut their salaries and are demanding for new supervisors.
The spokesman of the Ministry of the Interior Mr. Khieu Sopheak can not be reached for comments
