The FUNCINPEC Party and the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) officials say they don't foresee any problems that would prevent acting head of state Chea Sim from signing the "Block Vote" bill into law.
The bill, signed by the National Assembly last week, was approved Monday by the Senate.
It will be then fowarded to the King or acting head of state to sign into law.
CPP spokesman Khieu Kanaridh said acting head of state Mr. Chea Sim has signed bills into law for the King on several occasions in the past.
