The Sam Rainsy Party remembers the victims of the March 97 grenade attack today in Phnom Penh.
In a Buddhist ceremony, Opposition Party president Mr. Sam Rainsy appeal for the end of senseless violence.
Mr. Rainsy said he represented the victims' family in forgiving the perpetrators of the attack.
The attack killed more than 10 persons and wounded over one hundred others including Mr. Ron Abney, an American citizen working for the International Republican Institute (IRI) at the time.
IRI director Jackson Cox, who also attended the ceremony, urged the FBI to return to Cambodia to finish its investigation on the deadly attack and to make its finding public.
