Before leaving for China for his annual medical checkup, King Norodom Sihanouk told reporters he wishes to see the three main parties make extra efforts to try to resolve the deadlock in the interests of the people and nation.
The King also said, in case of emergency, he will be available to receive the leaders of the three parties together as a group, but not indidually.
The King will return home in time for the Cambodian New Year celebrations in mid April.
