A high ranking U.S. commander announces Wednesday that a U.S. naval warship will make its first five-day dock in the port of Sihanoukville in February, for the first time in 30 years.
The purpose of the visit is to strengthen military ties between the two countries, this according to Admiral Roughead.
After his meeting with Minister of Defense Tea Banh, the U.S. Navy Commander says that nearly 200 officers and crew will arrive at the Sihanoukville port on February 9th.
