Prince Sisowath Thomico, president of Sangkum Jatiniyum Front Party (SJFP) criticizes the Cambodian People Party’s (CPP) policies, and believed that their policies may lead to the dissolution of Cambodia's monarchy.
In a meeting on Thursday, he accuses the CPP of wanting absolute power when it comes to authoritarian control over Cambodian affairs and government policies.
Prime Minister Hun Sen’s top adviser, Om Yen Tieng says that the accusation is a political ploy by the royalists to gain public sympathy and votes at the ballots box.
Lu Lay Sreng, current FUNCINPEC’s vice president echoes the sentiment saying that no one can dissolve the monarchy, because the royalists are strongly supported by the Cambodian people.
