Iraqi officials say security forces have found at least 50 more bodies over the past 24 hours in Baghdad.
That brings the number of execution-style killings to more than 100 over the past three days, as a wave of sectarian violence sweeps across the capital.
Separately, the U.S. military says a soldier is missing following a suicide car bombing Thursday that killed two other soldiers. A Marine also was killed Friday, in Iraq's western Anbar province, while a soldier was killed in a roadside bomb blast north of Baghdad late Thursday.
At the White House Friday, President Bush acknowledged the situation in Iraq is "tough," but he vowed to continue to stand with Iraq as it battles extremists and tries to secure democracy
