Prime Minister Hun Sen alleges that opposition party will still be alive and operating in Cambodia and that it will even thrive without one individual, meaning Mr. Sam Rainsy.
He makes this last comment by mocking Mr. Sam Rainsy, president of Sam Rainsy party (SRP).
Mr. Hun Sen's comments are made after there are some concerns about the party's future that it might collapse or dissolve due to its leader's self-imposed exile.
Prime Minister Hun Sen says that not everybody agrees with the government, and there must be an opposition party. He says that this kind of party is within its own right to be formed.
SRP senator Keo Remy welcomes Mr. Hun Sen's comment about opposition party being present and that the international community will not let its leader be in exile.
