NGOs officials criticize the presence of anti Sam Rainsy banners which continue to be displayed at the public academic buildings, an act of demeaning Khmer culture.
These banners dated from October, use cussing words and are still present, calling Mr. Sam Rainsy, president of opposition Sam Rainsy party, a traitor, war criminal, and causing political instibility.
The Association of Human Rights ad hoc director Thun Saray says that the banners violate individual human rights.
Director of the Cambodia Center of Human Rights (CCHR) Kem Sokha says that using such language makes one diminish.
The students say that the act is not right and that they are ashamed. Minister of Education Kol Pheng does not answer his telephone.
