The United States government provides Cambodia $ 1.2 million in aid to improve the health of the Cambodian people.
The aid money is disbursed through the United States Agency for Development (USAID).
Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Nam Hong and USAID Mission Director in Cambodia Jonathan Addleton signed the aid agreement on September 27.
The money will be used to fight the AIDS disease, to improve maternal health and public health.
Secretary of state of the ministry of health Ing Phirun said this kind of aid help improve Cambodians' health.
