Cambodia's sacred oxen forecast an abundant rice harvest for the coming year on Thursday.
King Norodom Sihamoni presided over the traditional ceremony.
The Royal oxen ate rice, bean, and corn which astrologer said Cambodia will have plenty of foods this year.
The ceremony took place at the Meru field near the Royal Palace.
Guests attending the ceremony included Cambodian senators, members of parliament, foreign diplomats, and school children.
National Assembly President Norodom Ranaridh, Prime Minister Hun Sen, and President of the Senate Chea Sim were not present
