Cambodian government rejects the annual human rights report issued by the US Department of State on Feb. 28.
The 2004 report says the Cambodian government's human rights record remained poor, and the Government continued to commit abuses.
Prime Minister Hun Sen's senior advisor Om Yintieng says the United States' "concern" about human rights situation in Cambodia is helpful to the government allowing it to look at the problems and try to solve them.
However, Om Yintieng says he does not believe that human rights situation in Cambodia is worsening year by year-as some allege, including the U.S. State Department report.
