King Norodom Sihamoni appeals to donor countries to continue helping Cambodia in its work to clear landmines and to help victims of landmines.
Speaking at the center for job development for the victims of landmines outside Phnom Penh Wednesday, King Sihamoni said Cambodia has suffered from landmines long enough.
Mr. Tun Chan Nareth, the president of the Campaign Against Landmines who lost both legs to landmines said victims of landmines are living in poverty and need immediate assistance to survive.
King Sihamoni said he hopes the entire world will stop the production and the use of landmines.
