The implementation of a court order by police to evict 44 families from a disputed lot in Phnom Penh, Friday, January 9, 2004, resulted in 11 persons injured, 4 of them seriously including a pregnant woman, and the burning down of their houses.
All the 44 families were later compensated for US$200.00 each.
