Government Spokesman Reacts to Reporters Without Borders' Statement

A government's high ranking official criticizes Reporters Without Borders' officials saying their comments on a statement are an embarrassment to other reporters.

Government's spokesman and Minister of Information Khieu Kanharith says Tuesday that the Reporters Without Borders' officials made a statement Monday saying that Prime Minister Hun Sen went back on his words, forgot his promises to drop charges against Beehive 105 FM radio station's manager Mam Sonando. The Reporters Without Borders' officials said they were disappointed by Mr. Hun Sen's change of mind, not dropping charges against the activists.
