Assistant U.S. Secretary of State Christopher Hill welcomes Tuesday evening (local time) Prime Minister Hun Sen government's release of imprisoned activists, saying it is a good step.
Four activists are being released on bail after Mr. Hill and Prime Minister Hun Sen meet for discussions.
Mr. Hill gives a press conference at the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh. He welcomes the government's decision, saying he hopes that it will be a step forward for Cambodia.
He also says that he is happy and hopes that the families are reunited.
