A Phnom Penh court summons representatives of AFESIP, the NGO that rescued more than 80 women from a hotel earlier this month, to elaborate on its lawsuit against the armed group of people who allegedly attacked its shelter and kidnapped the rescued women.
AFESIP also filed its lawsuit with Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen and both houses of the National Assembly.
A court prosecutor said the court could delay its investigation into the case because there's also a claim that the women left the shelter on their own will.
The representative of AFESIP could not be reached for comments.
