Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen rejects the opposition party's request to suspend police chief Hok Lundi's duties.
Opposition party member Mr. Son Chhay wrote a letter to King Sihanouk on Monday asking his Majesty the King to use his power in the constitution to suspend Hok Lundi's duties to restore public confidence in the investigation of Chea Vichea's murder case.
Mr. Hun Sen said the opposition party "has neither rights to appoint nor to suspend any government officials whether they are civilian or military officials."
